چکیده
In assisted reproduction treatments (ART), applying the ICSI method for fertilization of oocytes rather than traditional IVF method, is regarded as controversial two reasons, namely utility and safety. Our study examines an IVF-ICSI Split model couples with unexplained infertility, where male factor meticulously excluded ART conducted by a strict algorithm, commitment to blastocyst culture, along single embryo transfers high cryopreservation. From 242 treatment cycles, 3346 recovered (13.8 per OPU) were randomly allocated or rates standardized number 2PNS arising from each group metaphase II oocyte identified group, denominator both groups. The significantly higher overall (83.2% vs 65.4%; p<0.0001), being most pronounced women under 40 years. resultant embryos had equivalent implantation in fresh ET frozen (FET) cycles no significant differences pregnancy rates, miscarriage live birth outcomes indicating quality. However, there numbers ICSI-generated cryopreserved subsequent FET procedures showed (21 births 6 births; p<0.005) potential livebirths (214 104 p<0.0001). No congenital fetal abnormalities detected any 199 babies delivered during period December 2020, neither IVF-generated nor ICSI-generated. Whilst data strongly favors ICSI, 2 (from 26 one arm only) who demonstrated only study. We conclude that should be undertaken on all IVF-naïve infertility determine appropriate mode, albeit will safely preferred >90% cases.

Rescue ICSI of unfertilized oocytes after IVF.
BACKGROUND Failed fertilization after IVF occurs in 10-20% of cycles. Conflicting results of rescue fertilization by ICSI have been reported. We therefore compared the success rate in terms of fertilization and pregnancy of cycles in which rescue ICSI was performed with those from a matched control group of primarily ICSI cycles. METHODS Unfertilized oocytes from IVF cycles with total fertili...
متن کاملComparison of clinical outcomes between in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) in IVF-ICSI split insemination cycles
OBJECTIVE This study aimed to compare the clinical outcomes between in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) in sibling oocytes. Additionally, we evaluated whether the implementation of split insemination contributed to an increase in the number of ICSI procedures. METHODS A total of 571 cycles in 555 couples undergoing split insemination cycles were included i...

متن کاملPerinatal risks after IVF and ICSI.
Pregnancies that occur after infertility treatment, particularly after assisted reproduction, constitute high-risk pregnancies. Occurrences of conditions such as high blood pressure, preeclampsia, growth retardations and bleeding are higher in comparison with the norm of spontaneously entered pregnancies. The rate of premature births and the frequency of intrauterine deaths are much higher than...
متن کاملSelective use of percutaneous testis biopsy to optimize IVF-ICSI outcomes: a case series
BACKGROUND Sperm quality may degrade during transit through the male reproductive tract in some individuals. In this setting surgically retrieved testicular sperm may outperform ejaculated samples for use with in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF-ICSI). We sought to describe one center's experience with the use of fresh testicular sperm after prior failed IVF-I...
